Please add confusing indirection

Look, Reuters Graphics: it's a damn graphic. You made little icons, that was clever and in keeping with the "graphic" idea. Then you mapped them to random colors and used the colors in the actual graphic? WTF!?

You're trying to show a North Korean parade of military vehicles. Why didn't you put the fucking vehicle icons in the actual schematic of the parade?

Oh, your vehicles are pointing right, and your intro graphic has the parade going to the right, yet your schematic has the lead parade elements on the left.

Final score: 2/10. Maybe someone can reuse your icons in a minimalist World War 3 video game.
